Program Introduction
The Bioengineering (BioE) and Business track at UC Berkeley is part of the M.E.T (Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology) program, offering students the opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in just four years. This program develops leaders who combine technical expertise in bioengineering with business acumen to drive innovation in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology sectors. As a designated STEM program, international students can benefit from up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation, expanding employment opportunities in biotech companies, healthcare startups, and medical technology fields.
