Program Introduction

The M.E.T (Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology) program at UC Berkeley is an innovative undergraduate dual degree program combining business and engineering. This program allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the College of Engineering in just four years. M.E.T aims to develop future innovators who can lead at the intersection of technology and business. The Engineering Undeclared and Business track at UC Berkeley is part of the M.E.T program, offering a flexible pathway for students who wish to participate in M.E.T without immediately committing to a specific engineering major. This track allows students to explore various engineering disciplines and discover their interests and strengths before selecting a specific engineering major (such as EECS, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.) by the end of their first year. As a designated STEM program, international students can benefit from up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation, with employment opportunities expanding across various technology and business sectors depending on the engineering major ultimately chosen.
